Partnership accounts must be in the full, legal name of the partnership as found in the certificate or articles of limited partnership (as same may have been amended.) Subject to state laws, which vary from state to state.
During the account opening process, Clear Chicago Group requests information about general partners and/or managers who are authorized to act in various capacities on behalf of the partnership in respect to the account. If any of those general partners is a corporation or limited liability company, certified resolutions that set forth the names of the officers, members or managers who are authorized to act on behalf of that corporation or limited liability company are also required.
